Maybe is not possible to have a physical connection, but we can keep a close (virtual) connection. We need each other more then ever.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the Onlaah project, we have been connecting with our teachers by interviewing them to our Podcast! So we have new episodes to share with you!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Episode 4 with <strong>D\u00e9cio Muianga<\/strong>, from Eduardo Mundlane University, in Mozambique. D\u00e9cio is our teacher in the MOOC presenting, together with J\u00f6rg Linst\u00e4dter, the <em>Changalane Case <\/em>Study,  and is also one of the presenters in the indoor videos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-spotify wp-block-embed-spotify wp-embed-aspect-21-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"Spotify Embed: Interview with D\u00e9cio Muianga\" style=\"border-radius: 12px\" width=\"100%\" height=\"152\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen allow=\"autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; fullscreen; picture-in-picture\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/embed\/episode\/44o4RCt9sw4WFaLK3xblor?utm_source=oembed\"><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Episode 5 with <strong>Jo\u00e3o Cascalheira<\/strong>, from the ICArEHB research Center at the Algarve University, in Portugal. Johanna is an Egyptologist and archaeozoologist and is giving the  \u201cIntroduction to Archaeology\u201d in our MOOC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-spotify wp-block-embed-spotify\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"Spotify Embed: Interview with Johanna Sigl\" style=\"border-radius: 12px\" width=\"100%\" height=\"152\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen allow=\"autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; fullscreen; picture-in-picture\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/embed\/episode\/5tqJTXPyRX1N52d9L6TouA?utm_source=oembed\"><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>D\u00e9cio, Jo\u00e3o and Johanna are part of the outstanding and generous team of teachers bringing our MOOC to live.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Course development and partnerships<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Regarding our course, we have been busy organizing more classes and start learning about the software we will be using to record the indoor videos: it&#8217;s called OBS Studio and will permit to record remotely with the UAB-Coursera team.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are also working on a new partnership with The Archaeological Institute of America and looking for more collaboration with African Institutions and Universities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Whit this objective in mind, on the 28th of October, we attended a meeting to established new contacts with colleagues from Namibia. We were invited by our partners from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB)  to participate on the <strong>Virtual Namibia Partners&#8217; Day<\/strong> with the University of Namibia (UNAM) and the Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the 18th of November we will be at the same event with colleagues from Botswana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So, don&#8217;t forget, listen and subscribe to the <a href=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/show\/5BgSyqDUEb6iatKipMkHms\">Onlaah podcast <\/a>and spread the word!
