500 years ago&#8220; (SPP 2143) a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9tabli par le S\u00e9nat de la Fondation allemande pour la recherche (DFG) en avril 2017 pour une p\u00e9riode de 6 ans.<\/p><p>L&#8217;objectif du programme est d&#8217;explorer les relations et les r\u00e9seaux intra-africains des 6 000 derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es jusqu&#8217;au d\u00e9but de la p\u00e9riode coloniale. L&#8217;accent est mis sur le transfert d&#8217;objets et de connaissances ainsi que sur la mobilit\u00e9 des personnes et sur les m\u00e9canismes et motivations qui sous-tendent ces processus. En \u00e9troite collaboration avec nos institutions partenaires africaines, nous essayons de remettre en question de mani\u00e8re critique les traditions de recherche nationales et les perspectives europ\u00e9ennes et de d\u00e9velopper de nouvelles perspectives pour la recherche arch\u00e9ologique commune en Afrique.<\/p><p>En 2018, 12 projets, dont un projet de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dainst.blog\/entangled-africa\/en\/p12-coordination-en\/\">coordination<\/a> et un projet de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dainst.blog\/entangled-africa\/en\/p11-data-management-en\/\">gestion des donn\u00e9es<\/a>, ont \u00e9t\u00e9 approuv\u00e9s pour une p\u00e9riode initiale de trois ans. <\/p><p>En 2021, une \u00e9valuation positive a \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9alis\u00e9e par la DFG et, en cons\u00e9quence, la grande majorit\u00e9 des <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dainst.blog\/entangled-africa\/fr\/les-projets\/\">projets<\/a> ont \u00e9t\u00e9 prolong\u00e9s de trois ans jusqu&#8217;en 2025 ; en outre, un <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dainst.blog\/entangled-africa\/en\/p13-tracing-connections-en\/\">nouveau projet, le 13e<\/a>, a \u00e9t\u00e9 ajout\u00e9.<\/p><p>Les chercheurs du SPP publient continuellement leurs r\u00e9sultats dans un certain nombre de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dainst.blog\/entangled-africa\/fr\/publications-fr\/\">publications<\/a> acad\u00e9miques. En outre, les r\u00e9sultats seront pr\u00e9sent\u00e9s au public int\u00e9ress\u00e9 dans le cadre de l&#8217;exposition &#8222;<a href=\"https:\/\/planet-africa.de\/en\/\">Plan\u00e8te Afrique<\/a>&#8220; The focus is on the transfer of objects and knowledge as well as the mobility of people and the mechanisms and motivations behind these processes. In close cooperation with our African partner institutions, we try to critically question national research traditions and European perspectives and to develop new perspectives for joint archaeological research in Africa.<\/p><p>In 2018, 12 projects including a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dainst.blog\/entangled-africa\/en\/p12-coordination-en\/\">coordination<\/a> and a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dainst.blog\/entangled-africa\/en\/p11-data-management-en\/\">data management<\/a> project were approved for an initial period of 3 years.<\/p><p>In 2021, a positive evaluation was carried out by the DFG and, as a result, the vast majority of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dainst.blog\/entangled-africa\/en\/the-projects\/\">projects<\/a> were extended for a further 3 years until 2025; in addition, a new, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dainst.blog\/entangled-africa\/en\/p13-tracing-connections-en\/\">13th project<\/a> was added.<\/p><p>The researchers of the SPP continuously publish their results in a number of academic <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dainst.blog\/entangled-africa\/en\/publications-new\/\">publications<\/a>.
