{"id":1256,"date":"2019-12-17T14:18:57","date_gmt":"2019-12-17T13:18:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.dainst.blog\/entangled-africa\/?p=1256"},"modified":"2021-04-01T10:57:31","modified_gmt":"2021-04-01T08:57:31","slug":"konferenz_2019_02","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.dainst.blog\/entangled-africa\/konferenz_2019_02\/","title":{"rendered":"Zwei Netzwerke \u2013 ein Ziel"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Erste gemeinsame Jahresvollversammlung des DFG-Schwerpunktprogramms Entangled Africa und des TANA-Netzwerks <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die Geschichte Afrikas aus Afrika heraus zu beleuchten und\nin das Wissensgeflecht der alten Welt zu integrieren \u2013 dieser Aufgabe stellen\nsich das DFG-Schwerpunktprogramm (SPP) 2143:<em>\nEntangled Africa<\/em> und das <em>TransArea\nNetwork Africa (TANA)<\/em>. Das \u201eTANA-Netzwerk\u201c ist eine Plattform, die den\nWissenschaftlern aller in Afrika arbeitenden Projekte des DAI ein Forum bietet.\n\u201e Entangled Africa\u201c&nbsp; ist ein von der\nDeutschen Forschungsgemeinschaft f\u00fcr sechs Jahre finanziertes\nSchwerpunktprogramm (SPP). Die interdisziplin\u00e4ren Arbeiten der am SPP Entangled\nAfrica beteiligten Wissenschaftlerinnen und Wissenschaftler gehen neue Wege in\nder Erforschung der Geschichte Afrikas. Sigl<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/li><\/ul><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Die Einleitung der wissenschaftlichen Diskussion \u00fcbernahmen\ndie Pr\u00e4sidentin des Deutschen Arch\u00e4ologischen Instituts Prof. Dr. Friederike\nFless und der Leiter des Koordinationsprojekts PD Dr. J\u00f6rg Linst\u00e4dter. Im\ngemeinsamen Diskurs mit bis zu 60 engagierten Forschern wurde \u00fcber\nprojektinterne, wie auch gemeinsame Ziele und Methoden debattiert. Wie k\u00f6nnen wir unsere Arbeiten und\nErgebnisse noch enger verkn\u00fcpfen? Wo ist \u201eEntanglement\u201c \u00fcber die Grenzen der\nbeiden Netzwerke hinaus m\u00f6glich und sinnvoll? Gerahmt wurde die Veranstaltung\nvon Einblicken in einzelne Projekte und die Ergebnisse der im Jahr 2019 veranstalteten Workshops zu\nverschiedenen Materialgruppen und chronologischen Ans\u00e4tzen. M\u00f6glichkeiten der\nErg\u00e4nzung von arch\u00e4ologischen und botanischen Daten im gegenseitigen Austausch\nwurden diskutiert. Sigl<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/li><\/ul><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Neben den Forschungsergebnissen wird in beiden Netzwerken\ndie Langzeitsicherung und \u00f6ffentliche Zug\u00e4nglichkeit der Daten angestrebt.\nGeladene G\u00e4ste, wie Wolfgang Schmidle und Juliane Watson (Mitarbeiter der\nwissenschaftlichen Informationstechnologie des Deutschen Arch\u00e4ologischen\nInstituts) informierten \u00fcber die Ankn\u00fcpfungsm\u00f6glichkeiten existierender\nDatenstrukturen an die bereits bestehenden Systeme der <em>iDAI-World.<\/em> Thomas Hartmann (Nationale\nForschungsdateninfrastruktur), gab Einblicke in das rechtliche Umfeld im Umgang\nmit Forschungsdaten \u2013 ein hochaktuelles Thema.
