In a joint discourse with up to 60 committed\nresearchers, internal project goals as well as common aims and methods were\ndiscussed. How can we link our work and results even more closely? Where is entanglement\npossible and useful beyond the boundaries of the two networks? The discussion\nwas framed by insights into individual projects and the results of the\nworkshops on various find- and chronology-based approaches to archaeological\nresearch questions held in 2019. Possibilities of supplementing archaeological\nand botanical data in mutual exchange were discussed. Common challenges and\ninterests were brought up and new cooperations were initiated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dainst.blog\/entangled-africa\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/11\/2020\/01\/DAI_KAAK_2019_Dez_Vollversammlung_Berlin_JS-54-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" data-id=\"1382\" data-link=\"http:\/\/www.dainst.blog\/entangled-africa\/?attachment_id=1382\" class=\"wp-image-1382\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.dainst.blog\/entangled-africa\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/11\/2020\/01\/DAI_KAAK_2019_Dez_Vollversammlung_Berlin_JS-54-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.dainst.blog\/entangled-africa\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/11\/2020\/01\/DAI_KAAK_2019_Dez_Vollversammlung_Berlin_JS-54-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.dainst.blog\/entangled-africa\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/11\/2020\/01\/DAI_KAAK_2019_Dez_Vollversammlung_Berlin_JS-54-768x576.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/>
Fig. 3 | \u00a9 J.
