Juni findet der diesj\u00e4hrige Sudantag unter dem Titel &#8222;Das mittlere Niltal und seine Nachbarn&#8220; statt. Die geplanten Vortr\u00e4ge besch\u00e4ftigen sich mit einer Vielzahl inhaltlich spannender Tehmen, die sicherlich sowohl f\u00fcr Mitglieder des SPP, wie auch Forschende aus anderen Fachbereichen von Interesse sind.<\/p><p>Aus den Reihen des SPP wird Jana Eger-Karberg vom Projekt <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dainst.blog\/entangled-africa\/p03-interlink-de\/\">InterLINK<\/a> aktuelle Forschungsergbenisse pr\u00e4sentieren. In ihrem Votrag zum Thema &#8222;Sand, Satelliten und Statistiken &#8212; Geo-Arch\u00e4ologie im westlichen Sudan am Computer&#8220; nimmt sie die Zuh\u00f6renden mit auf eine Reise durch die virtuelle Arch\u00e4olgie und zeigt auf, welche neuen Erkenntnisse sich mithilfe moderner Technologien gewinnen lassen, selbst wenn der direkte Zugang zu den Fundpl\u00e4tzen einmal verwehrt sein sollte.<\/p><p>Eine Teilnahme ist dieses Jahr sowohl vor Ort als auch online m\u00f6glich.
