A Milestone for Cultural Heritage Conservation

The restoration work on Kızıl Avlu (“Red Hall”) has been completed. In a total of 14 working campaigns, the Kızıl Avlu was conserved, reconstructed and made into a museum. Among others, the project was sponsored by Studiosus Foundation e.V. With the support of the GerdaHenkelStiftung, the construction site also served as a training centre for several unskilled workers who were trained as stonemasons.
