Erna Eckstein: Fotoğrafik Anımsamalar
Bu sergi, Türkiye’ye Atatürk’ün Üniversite reformu çerçevesinde davetli olarak gelen çocuk doktoru Albert Eckstein’ın hayat arkadaşı Erna Eckstein hakkındadır. Bugüne kadar Albert Eckstein ile ilgili pek çok sergi, haber ve yayın yapılmış; fakat Erna hep biraz gölgede kalmıştır. Bu sergi ile onun üzerindeki bu toz tabakasını kaldırmak istiyoruz.
Syria 1999 Memories of Syria - A Picture Journey
Archaeology and traveling are very much connected. How to experience an archaeological context without traveling and visiting the actual sites? Travelling, archaeology, and photography joint from the beginning of photography. This blog will present some images taken in 1999 while visiting sites and cities in Syria as a DAI travel grant holder. Syrian archaeologists, architects, and heritage conservators are commenting on the images and sharing their immediate memories and thoughts. They take us on a journey through Syria in the past and the present.
يرتبط علم الآثار والسفر ارتباطاً وثيقاً. فكيف تزور موقعاً أثرياً دون السفر وزيارة الموقع الفعلي؟ السفر والآثار والتصوير الفوتوغرافي مرتبطةٌ مع بعضها منذ بداية التصوير الفوتوغرافي. ستعرض هذه المدونة بعض الصور التي تم إلتقاطها في عام ١٩٩٩ أثناء زيارة بعض المواقع والمدن في سوريا ، كصاحب منحة معهد الأثار الألماني للسفر، تم التعليق من قبل عدد من علماء الأثار والمهندسين المعماريين والمرممين السوريين على تلك الصور، وشاركوا ذكرياتهم وأفكارهم الفورية. وبذلك يأخذوننا في رحلة عبر سوريا بين الماضي والحاضر.
